Casa D'Lights
This is our favorite cottage because of the view. It is totally unobstructed, not only of the fabulous views of St Kitts but also because the bedroom windows have gorgeous views of Mt Nevis. The cottage is a two bedroom, two bath upstairs unit with a dedicated garage and storage area on the first floor. We choose a bold blue accent color and allowed the vaulted ceiling to bask in cool powder blue. The open design and use of two independent, 8 foot front Anderson French Door component units added the special ambience that we were seeking in an inside/outside complimentary tropical setting.
The front porch offers almost 200 sq feet of inspiring panaromic views of southern Nevis; Basseterre, St Kitts; and the picturesque Nelson's Springs lagoon area. It is certainly one of the most spectacular prime time views on the island, and challenges any of the multi-million dollar views offered by the prestigious Mahogany Hills Four Seasons grand homes.
